Schedule: 4 days on, 3 days off – 10 hours per day
Local residents preferred

Stuart Olson is hiring an experienced E&I Petro Chemical Industrial Estimator to support industrial maintenance projects at a clients location  Fort McMurray. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on field experience who can accurately estimate labor, materials, and resources, and translate that into effective planning and scheduling for maintenance and turnaround work.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed estimates using AccuBid
• Review drawings/specs, prepare bid packages, and manage scope changes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and schedule work packages
• Coordinate long-lead materials and ensure safety compliance
• Support budget development and change order estimating

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Electrician or Instrumentation technician
• 5+ years of E&I estimating, planning, and scheduling experience
• Proficient in AccuBid, Primavera P6, SAP 1909, and MS Office
• Experience in petrochemical, gas, or heavy oil facilities (up to 13.8KV)
• E&I supervisory experience is an asset

Working Conditions

• Indoor/outdoor work in varying weather, confined spaces, and at heights
• Must be clean-shaven and able to lift up to 50 lbs
