Position Overview
The
Car Wash Technician
will travel to customer locations throughout Newfoundland to provide installation, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of car wash equipment, chemical dispensers, and related systems. This includes coin-operated wash bays, rollovers, and full-sized tunnel systems. A dual-focus technician would also support maintenance and servicing of petroleum dispensing equipment.
As a Car Wash Technician, you will:
* Install, maintain, diagnose, and repair car wash systems and related equipment.
* Service coin-operated wash bays, rollovers, full tunnel systems, and chemical dispensers.
* Travel to customer sites across Newfoundland.
* Provide maintenance and servicing of petroleum dispensing equipment (dual focus).
Requirements
* Mechanically inclined with strong problemâsolving skills.
* Knowledge of repairing and troubleshooting car wash equipment (asset).
* Electrical knowledge and expertise (asset).
* Experience with highâpressure pumps, hydraulics, and compressors (asset).
* Mechanical or electrical experience; certified tradespeople considered an asset.
* High energy, selfâmotivated, positive attitude.
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
* Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
* Customer service experience with ability to multiâtask.
* Minimum high school education; postâsecondary in electronics is an asset.
* Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract.
* Willingness to travel, work onâcall rotation, and overtime.
* Training will be provided.
